Don't you just love seeing children involved in creating art? My own children and now my grandchildren have always been activelly involved in creativity. National Parks, Victoria has creative programs for the young ones. This year’s ‘Summer in the Alps’ activity program celebrates 2010 as the International Year of Biodiversity. Kids can show off their artistic skills by painting their own Mt Buffalo watercolour postcards. Rangers will have art materials, with colours and images in the alpine landscape to inspire budding young artists. This activity will run on Monday 28 December, 4, 11 & 18 January – 10.30am – 12.00pm Activities are free and suitable for the whole family, however an adult must accompany children at all times. We look forward to sharing the Alps with you this summer!
